Taipei, Taiwan (March 7, 2011) – Test Research Inc. (TRI, TAIEX 3030) TRI ran free seminars that reviewed the most recent advances in Automated X-Ray Inspection, Automated Optical Inspection, and Solder Paste Inspection, as well as ToggleScan and VregTest technology and strategies. The events took place in Linkou, Taiwan, and Shenzhen, China, and SuZhou, China on February 24th, March 2nd, and March 4th respectively. 

These seminars served as useful platforms for participants to update themselves on the latest developments in the Test & Measurement industry and to take stock of global trends, issues and challenges facing the industry and future direction and opportunities. The seminars included technical demonstrations of machines as well as demonstrate advances in software and hardware development.

The seminars covered TRI’s current product lines and gave a roadmap for new product development. The seminars also discussed changing the paradigm about structural testing in order to promote AOI, SPI, and ICT as improvement tools as opposed to process tools.

These free seminars are held annually and new ones can be introduced if there is sufficient end-user demand. Also, to commiserate the opening of our new Penang, Malaysia office TRI will also hold another free seminar at the Eastin Hotel Penang on March 11, 2011.
