Taipei, Taiwan (June 1, 2009) – Test Research Inc. (TRI, TAIEX 3030) recently announced the appointment of Jonathan Lin to Vice President of International Business Development (IBD). Lin will be responsible for growing TRI's business in all areas of the world outside of Taiwan and China.
In addition, TRI has recently expanded its team of distributors in North and South America. In North America, Brock Electronics has been added in Canada, and Lewis and Clark and Equipment Southeast Sales in the United States. In Brazil, TRI has added Teknosip and ATESS.
"We have had a very strong presence among Asian OEMs, ODMs, and EMS companies for over a decade," said Jason Chen, founder and CEO of TRI. “We are confident that as manufacturing companies outside of Asia seek to expand their vendor base away from premium-priced North American brands, they will decide TRI is their best alternative. We have decided that now is the right time to be attracting high-level distributors and customers to our line of test solutions for the computer, communications, and automotive industries.”
"I am really looking forward to becoming a part of TRI's global business team," said Lin. "Since joining TRI, I've already travelled to 12 countries on three continents and have seen tremendous demand from a range of customers for TRI's high-value, cost-effective test systems.”
