[March 18, 2014 – Taipei, Taiwan] Test Research, Inc. (TRI) kicked off a series of technology seminars and product demos in March of 2014 starting with events in Shenzhen, Suzhou and Taiwan. The one day seminars introduced latest technological innovations in TRI’s comprehensive PCBA testing and inspection product portfolio and highlighted the value TRI systems can provide to manufacturers in terms of lower capital costs and higher performance.

Split in two parts, the morning session focused on new developments in TR7500 SIII 3D, the world’s fastest 3D AOI systems, and on TRI’s newest 3D SPI, TR7007 SII Plus. Afternoon session revealed the industry’s most affordable parallel ICT solution, TR5001T SII TINY and updates to 3D X-ray systems including TRI’s range of inline board testing solutions.

Among the highlights, TRI customers emphasized 3D AOI inspection performance and ease of use, rapid intelligent programming of TRI’s SPI systems, and new CAD-based AXI programming that dramatically reduce programing and fine-tuning time. A category of its own, the TR5001T SII TINY was shown in 2-up parallel setup, reducing required floor space, number of workstations and necessary operators. TRI’s most affordable inline ICT solution, TINY INLINE was also shown as the optimal cost-saving solution for ensuring stable production quality.

All innovations were showcased live on-site to demonstrate the introduced technologies.
