Test Research Inc. Presents Industry's Fastest SPI at Nepcon Japan 2010
“Total Test Solutions" Provider Will Also Show AXI, AOI, and In-Circuit Test Systems

Taipei, Taiwan (January 15, 2010) – Test Research Inc. (TRI, TAIEX 3030) announced today that it would present the industry's fastest solder paste inspection (SPI) system at Nepcon Japan from January 20-22 in Tokyo's Big Sight exhibition center. In addition, four other of TRI's high-value test systems for electronics manufacturing will be on display at the company's stand located in Hall East, Booth 49-34. 

Featured in the TRI Nepcon booth will be the new TR7007 64-bit, 3D SPI system for mid- to high-volume manufacturing. The TR7007's inspection speed is a blazing 171cm2/sec at 14 micrometers resolution and 87cm2/sec at 10 micrometers. In addition, the TR7007 has a new "fringe pattern" lighting system that eliminates shadows and provides the best possible defect detection. The TR7007 also uses a linear motor for smoother, more accurate imaging. 

TRI will also be emphasizing its Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) technology with the in-line TR7500 and desktop TR7500DT systems on display. The TR7500 is a high-speed, pre- or post-reflow system that combines a top-view digital 3CCD full-color camera plus 4 angle cameras to provide the most complete AOI coverage in its class. The TR7500DT is a compact, high-speed desktop system for offline problem detection and analysis.

Rounding out TRI's "one-stop solution" approach to PCB test products is the cost-effective TR5001 In-Circuit Tester. The TR5001 is a compact, full-featured system that supports 3,200 analog or 1,600 hybrid digital/analog test pins. Options are available for on-board programming, TestJet and Boundary-Scan. Also offered are TRI's limited-access test solutions ToggleScan and VregTest.
