Taipei, Taiwan (October 20, 2010) – Test Research Inc. (TRI, TAIEX 3030) announced today that it will feature its TR9000 PCB AOI test system & repair station as well as TR7007, the world’s fastest 3D Solder Paste Inspection Test System at the TPCA show to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from Oct. 20-22, 2010. TRI will also display a range of feature-rich test systems for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) at TRI's booth J423. 

The TR9000 is an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) system designed for high-volume manufacturers of mainstream PCBs. Designed entirely in-house, the TR9000 implements TRI's existing AOI expertise to inspect PCBs down to 35 m m (microns). Red and blue LEDs are used as a light source to ensure high defect detection rates with low false calls. Panels up to 675mm x 730mm (27in x 29in) can be accommodated by the system. 

The TR7007 is an ultra-high-speed 3D Solder Paste Inspection system that adopts a Fringe Pattern Technology and dual light source, which then can be used to solve commonly seen shadow and reflection problems simultaneously. It is equipped with a linear motor and linear scale that provides a highly accurate X-Y Table system.

Our test system expertise now is ideal for both small and high-density products due to enhancement in the product's quality.” 

Also being showing at TRI's booth will be two AOI systems, the desktop TR7530DT and the best-selling TR7500. 

The TR5001T an in-circuit test system rounds out the TRI booth. The TR5001T is a compact and light weight cost-effective MDA with a full upgrade options for on-board programming.
