Founded in April, 1989, the inception of TRI has been based on a grand objective of designing and manufacturing quality automated testing equipment of high efficiency and low cost. Upholding the ideology as an industry leader and innovator, TRI continues to seek technical refinement, and work hard to bring forth a dependable and comprehensive solution to the electronics industry.

1989 Test Research, Inc. established.
1990 TR518 ICT announced
1993 TR518F ICT introduced with advance application of Agilent TestJet technology.
1994 Company relocated to the current office at 7F, 45,Te Shing West Road, Taipei.
1995 Accredited with ISO 9001 quality assurance certification by Germany's RW TÜV certification agency.
1996 TR518FE high speed ICT announced and won the fifth Symbol of Excellence, Taiwan award.
1997 TR518FR multipurpose ICT announced and once again won the sixth Symbol of Excellence, Taiwan award.
1998 The new type, intelligent In-Line ICT announced.
1999 Reinvestment in TRI Electronic (Shengzhen) Co., Ltd.
2000 The new type, TR6010 IC Tester announced.

2001 TRI's stocks start IPO at Over-The-Counter Securities Exchange.
